50% of profits are donated to causes chosen by you.
Contributors will help bring change to the world by directing the profits from their contributions to a worthwhile cause that they identify with and believe in. Members' surplus will go to one or more directed donation categories of their choice. To maximize the impact of donations, the co-op members will nominate and periodically vote on a single cause that will receive the donations for each donation category. 50% of the co-op surplus before taxes will go to 10 causes:
- Animal welfare
- Education in developing countries
- Environmental justice
- Food security
- Habitat conservation and preservation
- Poverty eradication
- Social justice
- Sustainable energy
- Web education and learning
- World health
Individual contributors can assign their allotted surplus to any combination of these 10 directed donation categories. For example, one contributor may wish to have their surplus portion go to 50% Food Security and 50% Environmental Justice.
Individually, members support the causes that will best inspire and motivate their work. Collectively, they will be able to see a real difference being made through large donations to a single cause.
